Fuhhhh..... at last all the burden finally are lifted from my shoulder, yesterday. Exhausted after a long working hours for the past 2 weeks preparing video presentation for my Director retirement function in The Legacy, Malacca... 1.30am arrived from Malacca, starving and feel sleepy. luckily there some food left in the refrigerator ...first time i attended an over pax function, without a seat reserved as "urusetia" and without food to eat.
Twice, this year i went to Malacca, firstly last month i went there as a "urusetia" for video editing using Adobe Premiere training, in Orkid Hotel and yesterday for "Jasamu Dikenang Budimu Disanjung" Function. The same scenario in government agency, happen to me again...and again...and again, i suppose to send some selected personal to a series of video editing training, so they can setup a team, and when the time comes, they manage to produce a video presentation.....But when the time come, it's a different story, where ICT unit is being responsible to do it again.
So for the past 2 weeks it is a hell week for me and ngibung. we do all the step to produce the video from scanning photo, do the interview, shot the video, voice over and etc, with limited equipment and a few resources. The equipment that we have at the moment is not on par to be use in normal video production. So to prove to those people that not understand the meaning of video production...i proposed a basic requirement set for video production to the management, luckily they accepted it and for the next video production, hopefully we can get a decent video output without many hassle.
Another frustating session was held 2 day before the event, as usual there's a lot of comment toward that video, but in pre-production, there are nobody bother to give us comment or recommendation, a typical and common attitude government officer is never change since i joint the services. In 2 days...making some improvement to the video, we manage to pull out a decent output.
On the 11th Disember 2007, the same event were held but this time in different location with another additional changes to be made to the presentation..so another..2 day with less sleep to finish the changes. APA KE-JADAH! on that particular day, we have to make room for another staff speech to be put inside the video...haiyaaaa...
...my schedule is fully book the this year. Next week we are busy doing installation and replacement of a new PC for the Officers then I'll be flying to Sabah for another job as a "SYMP".
bye for now.
