I saw it last evening, Great Movie!. The textures were perfect, some of the scenes are a bit scary. But nothing kids couldn't see in live-action, and the cartoonish look takes the edge off. I really liked the "puppet" look to the characters.
Maybe it's not for toddlers and really little kids. Looking at the movie there is a certain feel that mo-cap based animation certainly seems to feature in many places . The whole family loved this movie. Chowder is hilarious! . ..All together this movie rocked, liked other reviews have said, it reminds you of the goonies.
