"If you wok in kelante...you mah be cafuuu...you may be kok by the wemei of kelante" (Try pronounce in english with Kelantanese slang)
The joke my friend cum guru Tuan Haji Rusli made 14 years ago. It is to appreciates the bold and beauty of kelantanese girls those days. Last week, I got an opportunity to have a working trip to Kota Baharu, Kelantan. The journey complete my collection to travel around malaysia.
This is a first time i 'm travelling in the fasting month...a bit harder than normal days...left the aircond working environment.... so exhausted...
21 Sept 2007
0900 : Left Putrajaya, with two other collegue in pajero with full of computers....Kelantan here we come....we are using karak-gua musang route becaus it's much faster using this route...that what my driver say to me..... feel tooo long to reach kb....why did'n i traveled by flight???....simple because i want to learn the route, see the culture and environment and killing the time before iftar.
1630 : Arrive in Kota Baharu, checking the lab to make sure all the cabeling and infrastucture are ready....sad to say...i have to wait for another 2/3 days to make sure the infra ready and my team can deploy all the necesary equipments...so the delay give some time to explore the town.... we went to Siti Khadijah market, Rantau Panjang, Wakaf Che Ye and Cinta Bulan beach.
Tips to traveller, you shoud know how to speak their dialect or bring someone that know how to speak this dialect before going shopping in Kelantan. Otherwise you pockets will be slaughter.

1130 Repack all equipment and continue our journey home using Terengganu-Kuantan route. Purposely i choose the routes is to fulfill my ganu programmer dream to visit his family and furthermore we can do some more shopping there..heheheh..... reach Kuala Terengganu in the noon...rush to Payang market...buy some more silk material, shirt and bawal no 1 for my family. Finally I manage to buy something for myself... a "songkok" that fits my heads...so every incoming friday i could wear a full malay traditional outfit in the office.
Stay a night there, next day after Subuh prayerer...we continue our journey home...arive putrajaya around 12 noon 28 September 2007.
As a conclusion, nothing much to be seen in kb and kt, there no night-life, which is good for me rather than kl , or its because the fasting month. You can see Kelantan adapted more Jawi scripts in their banners, road names and etc...their beaches are marvelous and a breath taking moment to visit and foremost i did'nt being caught or attracted to/by any women in Kelantan or Terengganu...i wonder where are all their beauty goes...
hehehe...nice story bro. no picture?
